Raw Spicy Walnut Salad

This dish was inspired by the flavor of Turkish Spicy Walnut and Pepper Paste, Cevizli Biber. Using raw foods preserves the nutritional value of the ingredients. This blend is rich in vitamins A, C, and E - a winning combination for skin health. Further, scallions are high in vitamin K, which boosts mood. So not only will you look good, but you’ll feel good!



1 cup walnuts, soaked
1 red bell pepper
juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
3 scallions
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne, or more for a really spicy experience
salt to taste

Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse to a nice consistency.
